Plumbing repairs & pipework
The bread and butter, and the reason most people ring in the first place. Leaks traced and stopped, failed pipework cut out and replaced, pipe fitting and alterations for kitchens, bathrooms and appliances, seized and dripping taps put right, and the routine maintenance that stops small faults becoming expensive ones. Being a one-man company means the small jobs get the same attention as the big ones — there is no minimum value below which you become an inconvenience.

Bathroom installation & refurbishment
First Plumbing fits complete bathrooms: strip-out, first-fix pipework, the fitting itself, and the final connections and testing. Refurbishments where the layout works and only the suite is tired, and straightforward repairs where one item has failed. Kitchen plumbing sits in the same bracket — sinks, taps, waste runs and appliance connections. Paul Rayburn's Google review covers two bathrooms done back to back, which is the honest measure of whether someone can be trusted with the room your whole household depends on.

Heating, radiators & underfloor
Heating work runs from the single cold radiator to a complete system. Radiators and thermostatic radiator valves fitted, moved, repaired and replaced; power flushing where years of sludge have collected in the bottom of the panels and along the pipework; underfloor heating installed and repaired; and upgrades to an existing system rather than a wholesale replacement where a repair is genuinely the right answer. Fahim Patel had a full central heating system put in from scratch — his words were professionally, promptly, and at very short notice.

Showers, taps & hot water
Everything between the mains and the outlet. Showers installed and repaired, including electric showers, which are their own small discipline; water heaters and hot water cylinders; tank repair and maintenance; shower and system pumps fitted or replaced when the flow upstairs has never been right; water filters; and tap repairs, from a worn washer to a full replacement. If your hot water is fine downstairs and hopeless in the loft conversion, this is the section that fixes it.

Leaks, blockages & drains
Water leak detection first, because a stain on a ceiling is almost never directly beneath the leak — the job is finding the actual failure before anything gets cut open. Then the blockages: baths, sinks, toilets and drains cleared, drain repairs where a run has cracked or collapsed, and new drainage where there was none. Garden taps and outside supplies sit here too — the fitting everybody wants in May and nobody thinks about in November.

Emergency plumber, 24 hours
Things fail at inconvenient times. First Plumbing Ltd lists itself as open around the clock, every day, for the faults that genuinely cannot wait: a burst or leaking pipe you cannot get under control, a total loss of water or heating, a toilet out of action in a one-bathroom house, a drain backing up into the house. The business's published standard emergency call-out charge starts at £65. Before you ring, get the water off at the stopcock — there is a step-by-step checklist on this site for exactly what to do while you wait. If you can smell gas, ring 0800 111 999 first, not a plumber.

The full list
Broken down, job by job.
Those six headings cover a lot of ground between them. Here is the full list of what that means in practice — every service First Plumbing offers, grouped so you can find yours. If your job isn't on it, ring anyway: it is usually a variation on something that is.

What you can hold Indrit to
Three promises, and no small print.
The name in the reviews is the name at your door
Read First Plumbing's Google reviews and one word keeps coming back: Indrit. Not a call centre, not a rota of subcontracted vans — the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up, does it, and is still the person you ring afterwards if something needs a second look.
A real limited company you can look up in thirty seconds
First Plumbing Ltd is company number 14582300 at Companies House, incorporated on 10 January 2023 and active, with Indrit Dara as its sole director. That is a matter of public record — check it before you let anyone into your house, here or anywhere else.
No badge wall, because badges are easy to print
You will not find a row of accreditation logos on this site. The business describes itself as fully insured, and the honest way to test that is to ask for the certificate on the doorstep — the same way you should ask any engineer for a Gas Safe ID card before they touch a gas appliance. Ask. Nobody legitimate minds.
Free quotations. One plumber from first visit to final test. Listed as open 24 hours, seven days a week.
No accreditation logos are printed on this page, because a logo on a web page proves nothing. What is printed instead is a number you can check: First Plumbing Ltd, Companies House no. 14582300, incorporated 10 January 2023. Ask for the insurance certificate on the doorstep too — and ask any engineer for a Gas Safe ID card before they touch a gas appliance.
